CNN’s Dana Bash, ever the dutiful Democrat, was doing everything should could on Sunday to politicize the deadly flood in Texas. She was part of the chorus trying to blame President Donald Trump for the disaster. By Monday, she was again blaming Trump and Republicans while arguing for more government despite federally-funded weather services getting out advanced warnings before tragedy struck. 'Somehow, we must pin this on Trump and Republicans!'
Here’s Bash. (WATCH)
CNN’s Dana Bash: It’s harder for Republicans to politicize the TX flood disaster because it’s "in a red state."

Bash was last seen Sunday on CNN politicizing the disaster. https://t.co/MfgSkAdckn pic.twitter.com/ve09FNSVMR
Dana Trash. Enough said.

Well, she does work for a garbage ‘news’ network.
Here she is on Sunday, pushing the false narratives that Trump and climate change are to blame. (WATCH)
CNN’s Dana Bash identifies two possible causes for the Texas flooding tragedy in questions to Dem Rep Castro:

She needs to be fired @CNN Tragedy is not a time to make digs about politics. This is pathetic CNN.

CNN can’t be bothered with propriety; it has fake narratives to spread!

One commenter nails the main requirement to be a ‘journalist’ at CNN.
Dana Bash has no soul.

She and her husband are both elitists who live in a socialist echo chamber. They are despicable.

Imagine Dana Bash accusing anyone of politicizing this
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) July 7, 2025
It shows that she lacks all self-awareness, or even worse, she’s lying intentionally.
Posters correctly point out that the only ones politicizing the flooding are ‘journalists’ and their fellow Democrats.
She’s a ghoul.

Horrible human being.
The network has spent the last 48 hours politicizing this.
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) July 7, 2025
Man, that’s despicable. This is why I have not watched that network in years.
— IvanV1 (@Ivanv1) July 7, 2025
They don’t report. They’re just interested in power for the people who run them.
No one is politicizing the disaster except for Democrats.

Not sure where the handwringing is from.
They have shifted narrative over the last 24 hours.
Yesterday there were strong insinuations that Trump admin cuts were to blame.
They’ve now moved to talking in generalities, while loosely tying opposition to spending bills/cuts to possible/future calamities.
Note the phrase here “the role of government."
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) July 7, 2025
It's a hard argument to Mckenzie when the cuts haven't even happened yet, and the emergency notifications went out as they should days in advance.
— James O'Neill (@JamesON14571767) July 7, 2025
Yep. The talking points fell apart on Saturday.
— Kurt Nimphius' Hair (@Hcp1Hcp) July 7, 2025
There was a sudden shift once the original narrative crumbled under the weight of facts. We detailed this shift on Monday as Joe Scarborough took it for a spin.
The days of truthfully covering news are long gone. Posters say it’s all about scoring political points now.
Zero empathy for her fellow Americans.
— Gunther Eagleman™ (@GuntherEagleman) July 7, 2025
Dana is mainly concerned about scoring political points.
